Kate Ortiz
Kate (she/her) is a tattoo artist and co-owner of Bat & Cave Tattoo along with her partner, Caleb. It is important to her that everyone who comes to Bat & Cave feels a warm welcome, acceptance, and a little bit of magic.
Kate has been an artist since she could hold a pencil and can’t imagine life without art in it. She has had several different art centered careers but tattooing as been her favorite artistic adventure yet. She’s been tattooing since July of 2022 and specializes in traditional imagery. She enjoys different styles like folk art, vintage, or anything with a spooky twist.
She is a full time mother to the sweetest little boy, and has 3 cats. When she’s not tattooing, she’s probably figuring out her next art project in her cozy home, playing with her kid, or getting lost in a book or scary film. She’s a big time nerd for spooky stuff, so ask her about ghosts, aliens, Halloween, or horror movies.

Please fill out a request form to schedule an appointment. My current hourly rate is $200. Our studio minimum is $200 for small simple work. I require a $50 deposit once an appointment is schedule. This goes towards the final price of your tattoo. Your final tattoo design is reviewed and adjustable the day of your appointment and will not be sent to you prior. Remainder of tattoo payment can be done either through cash or card, thank you! **Appointments are not fully booked until a deposit is sent and confirmed**
